What we like:

We like the Hare’s Ear Blowtorch for its dual hot spots, a fluorescent orange Glo-Brite tail and matching collar that provide contrast without overwhelming the fly. The natural hare’s ear body gives it a buggy, familiar profile, while the CDC adds subtle movement in the water. It sinks quickly and plays well with more muted flies in a two-fly rig, especially when you want one fly doing the attention-grabbing.

How to fish it:

Fish it below a dry fly in a dry-dropper rig, or as part of a two-fly indicator setup. It performs best in riffles, seams, and moderate runs, places where trout are feeding actively and a little flash helps your fly stand out just enough to get noticed
